It is thought that upwards of 90% of disease is stress-related. In reality, most of us don’t acknowledge the level of pressure we put ourselves under, or consider how stress has the ability to trigger a variety of symptoms that can have a profound impact on our mental, physical and emotional health.
Taking control and making time for yourself is a key step in improving your well-being.
MBS Therapies services are tailored to meet the needs of each customer.
The therapies offered are designed to help manage stress and feelings of anxiety, enhance sleep quality, reduce fatigue, improve concentration, relieve headaches, boost immunity, improve circulation, movement and sensation and encourage healing on a number of levels.

Having spent 16 years in the training industry, Alison found herself needing to make some significant life choices in order to take care of her own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Having qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2005, Alison turned to complementary and alternative therapies to see if they could help with her own stress and anxiety levels. The benefits she gained from the treatments were so significant, it became the driving force behind Alison's decision to undertake further training and start her own therapy business.
In 2012 Alison graduated in Reflexology having trained with David Wayte, Principle of Jubilee College and the first Reflexologist in the UK to be made a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
With a desire to enhance and develop her practice further, Alison undertook further training with Sally Kay BSc(Hons) and an Expert Adviser to the Federation of Holistic Therapists and founder of Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage known as RLD. RLD is an award winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet with a focus to help sufferers of secondary Lymphoedema following surgery for breast cancer.
Alongside her private practice, Alison also offers services within hospice, palliative care, cancer charities, specialist support centres and residential care and supported living environments. Over the past few years of working with clients in such settings, she started to feel there was more that could be offered, particularly for clients that had scar tissue as a result of surgery or trauma. This led to Alison becoming qualified in Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork™ and recently completing the advanced practitioner training in ScarWork after breast cancer.
Alison is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), full member of the Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) for both Reflexology and Massage Therapy.
