DEEP OSCILLATION®

What is DEEP OSCILLATION®

Deep Oscillation (also known as DEEP OSCILLATION® or also known as HIVAMAT®) is a unique, internationally patented, non-invasive, and non-traumatic therapy method and has nothing in common with other known forms of therapy such as ultrasound or shock waves. By using attraction and friction, electrostatic impulses set the treated tissue into pleasant vibrations with a deep biological effect, without the use of external mechanical forces. In contrast to other forms of therapy, these oscillations have an extremely gentle and deep-acting effect on all tissue components (skin, conductive tissue, subcutaneous fatty tissue, muscles, blood, and lymph vessels).

DOT as opposed to externally applied, mechanical forms of massage therapy (e.g. vibration acting on the surface of the skin) Deep Oscillation works through the entire tissue layers including the connective tissue to a depth of 8cm  (Solangel, 2010).  

What to Expect

The client will hold a titanium contact element loosely between the fingers or toes.  via the vinyl-gloved hands of the Practitioner as a massage or via special applicators, the biologically effective oscillations work in the tissue segment undergoing treatment, and the pleasant therapeutic effect of DOT is created.  Deep Oscillation can be safely applied over metal pins and plates.  

DOT is used at MBS Therapies, where appropriate, as a key tool to enhance and support therapeutic outcomes.  DOT may be used to reduce pain, inflammation, swelling, and bruising, and to help break down fibrosis and scar tissue.  It can also be used for stimulating and relaxing the facial muscles during a Holistic Facial.
